I’ve studied in the U.S for almost a year now. Reason for that being that I transferred here from an Asian country.(I preferred not to say which) I’m a sophomore and I plan to major in computer science. My dream is to enter an Ivy league, and as I said, major in CS.
This is my current curriculum: Honors History, H.English, H.Biology, Adv.Computer Information System, Avid, PE 10, Algebra II.
This is my planned curriculum for my junior year: AP Eng, AP His or AP Psych, AP Computer Science, Economics, Pre-cal or AP Calc, and I’m not sure about AVID.
What are my chances at entering and getting a scholarship ?
The Ivies do not give merit aid. Need based aid is available depending on your family’s income and assets.
Listing your courses means nothing in terms of chances. Come back with a GPA and SAT/ACT scores.
And for virtually every applicant, Yale is a reach.
