-South Indian dancer (Bharatanatyam - it's one heck of a name! (: ), have taken lessons with visiting artists from India and will be giving my debut next year
-Founded a school chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) - we work to increase awareness of alcohol-related collisions through programs like "Every 15 Minutes"</p>

-I do a lot of volunteer work with autistic children because it's really important to me - Special Olympics tennis coach for two years and a county recreation volunteer for disabled children for two years before that
-Volunteer as a science tutor to students who don't speak English as their first language
-Hospital volunteer work (200+ hours)</p>

-Tennis coach with a private company
-Paid research intern at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research - investigated antimalarial drug properties and devised new cell line model for assessing central nervous system permeability of malaria drugs</p>

<p>I know it's hard to chance people, especially at really tough schools because it's such a shot in the dark sometimes haha. But I don't know a whole lot about the college admissions process and any comments would be appreciated :)</p>
