Everything looks fine, except your test scores may end up hurting a lot. (Especially if you get in and needing merit scholarships). The only reason I say that is that it’s below average and that you’re valedictorian so expectations are a bit higher. Good luck!

I think these schools are both going to be high reaches to you because of your scores, though I think the awards and first gen status may compensate for some of that gap. That said, your passion for science is evident through your research and I’m sure that will be noticed by admissions officers. You really have something going for you.

Unfortunately, I think your scores are too low for consideration. If you had a 32 ACT then I would have thought you had a strong shot at Yale/Stanford, but sadly you’re quite a bit below that. It could happen, but I don’t think it will.

I would place both of them as high reaches.

Take the January SAT, and the ACT… as for the rest… it does look good, and you have a shot, but as for all of us, nothing in the Ivy League admissions can be definite. Good luck

As high as humanly possible, of course. Anything 34+ will make him a very strong applicant. Can’t seem to find a kink in his stats other than the 30 ACT.

Hopefully they can look past that score because as others have said…the rest of your profile makes you seem like a very hardworking, bright student. Good luck!! Please chance me back.
