From freshmen year all the way up to first semester junior year, my gpa's weighted is 3.4... and my unweighted is 3.66. but so far my grades went up for junior year... i'm currently a junior.

im reaching straight A's so far. 2 A-... 3 A's... and 1 A+, so I'm not sure what my gpa is now.

I've taken two AP classes so far: APWH from sophmore year
And i'm taking AP lang this year.

I scored a 2 on my APWH test... 3: but yah

and i participate a lot too o_0 i'm running for event manager for key club, secretary for interact club and co-president for Jap-anime club all for senior year, I also join MCC and CSF... I also play piano and tennis.

and i'm also running for class secretary, and the results are still pending. If I don't win that, then I guess i'll do other leadership positions.
and hm i'm also planning to do an internship during the summer. And I'm planning to have another part-time job at my favorite store: Ichi-ban Kan or Mikkaido Kids .

For senior year i'll be taking:
AP bio
AP lit
AP gov/ honors econ
algebra II honors/ precal or stats <--(if i take summer school)
ceramics 2
leadership/ or concert band (if i don't take leadership)

soooo... what are my chances into getting into Yale? I'm already planning my essay

The usual… chances are unpredictable, but unless you straighten the Leaning Tower of Piza between now and December, make sure you have lots of great safety schools.

Check [this thread](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/yale-university/1114274-official-yale-class-2015-rd-results-thread.html) to see the kind of competition you’re up against.

To put it into perspective, my son was waitlisted last year with a 4.0 UW GPA and 4.26 weighted. He also had a 4 on AP Bio his only test before applying. His senior course load was AP Stats, AP Calc AB, AP Lit, and AP Psych. The biggest red flag I see is your math curriculum. Many applicants had AP Calc BC (it wasn’t offered at my son’s school) and I would be surprised if they seriously consider an applicant without at least AP level math.

Practically 0% chance. ;D

Unless you are planning on being recruited for tennis then I would say incredibly slim chances. 4.0 2400s get rejected. You have ECs, but they are not on the level that would compensate for poor academics for a school like Yale, imo.

Definitely would not say 0% chance, but you need to realize that the cards are stacked particularly high against you. I would normally say do a little more research on Yale and the average successful applicant, but I’m not sure how much good that would do considering that you’re already about to head into your senior year. The only thing at this point that could give you a sufficient boost would be a killer SAT/ACT composite.

Asianee, what are your standardized test scores, and what is your intended major - if you know? Also, is there anything unique about you, i.e., hardships overcome, fascinating singular hobby, family story, etc, that would help you truly stand out from the crowd?
Good luck.
