What school do you go to that a GPA that high would give you a rank of only 43?

umm, well i know the top gpas are separated by like 100ths of a point, just to let you know my gpa isn't that good, our school has a scale where CP's are 4.8, honors are 5.2, Ap's are 5.6 My gpa unweighted isn't that great, just around 3.7-3.8. I'd rather not give my exact local away, but I am in monmouth county

-Duke - reach
-Cornell - reach
-Carnegie Mellon University -reach
-William & Mary -slight reach
-Virginia Tech - Don't know

I'm from Monmouth County, too. The job at Wegman's gave it away. I probably have seen you at one time or another, then.

any other comments from people, I am feeling kind of lost. I am really anxious about what my SAT is going to be.

please, anyone reply..

A great school in NJ, that you could probably get into no sweat (since they really favor NJ kids) is TCNJ. It's a great route to medical school I hear and the people who I know who went there liked it a lot. I was accepted and was considering going, but ultimatly decided I just wanted out of NJ and needed a new experiance (I'm going to Washington and Lee most likely. I'm in a weird situation where I still am able to decide between W&L and Boston College though.) I'd check that out if I were you. It's maybe a step below some of the places on your list but above VT no question. Apparently a lot of Ivy league caliber students attend because its a great education with a cheaper price tag attatched. Save money for medical school or grad school if you have any of those ambitions. Plus don't forget Rutgers. It's looked down upon by a lot of NJ kids because it feels like everyone goes there, and you'd walk in, but the thing about such a huge University is there are endless resources to take advantage of. You can breeze through it with an ok education like a lot of people there do, or you can take advantage of all it can offer (which is a lot) and get a outstanding education. Kind of in a ****ty location, but its local, inexpensive, and can offer a lot. I just went through the whole college application process and I'm also from NJ, so if you want to pick my brain go ahead and ask away.

in at VA tech, good shot at CM, reach at Duke, reach cornell, slight reach W&M
