good recs, one really good, one good.

chances?

p.s. i wnt to major in econ, do you think the AO's will take good recs and ap scores into consideration?

The admissions office will certainly consider your teacher recs and AP scores - I'm not sure what that has to do with your major.

But econ at Duke is pretty spectacular. I've loved it.

PS: How do kids these days seem to know what their recs say? Is that becoming standard practice?

I think you have a decent shot. Your ECs are hard-hitting. SATs are alright. GPA a tad low, who knows.

you got a 2120 not a 2230, or am I missing something?

nnevvvverrmind

I know what most of my teacher rec's were. In general, they give them to me to read over, photocopy (I have a copy of all mine except one). I sent in all my teacher rec's myself.

The only exception was my APUSH teacher's rec in Brown. He sealed it himself and gave it to me.
