i just got into uga, georgia tech and umich, im oos, how do my chances look based on that and these?

here are my stats:

gpa weighted 94.3/100
rank 70/350 (in my defense, if a 94 is only in the top 18%, you can imagine how competitive my school is....)

8 aps

ecs:

honors:

sat club at school-bronze level
school "DAR" good citizen award

I would say you have a pretty good chance. I don’t know the acceptance rate for umich OOS, but it’s one of UNC’s peers and if you’re in there you probably have a good chance at UNC. Admissions still seem completely random sometimes for OOS - people get accepted to ivies and not UNC - but you have a shot.

Your rank is the only thing that would really work against you. Almost 80% of students were in the top 10% in high school. But they also take into consideration the competitiveness of your high school. If your essays were really good, you have a good shot.

Haha believe me I know. I have a 34 on my act, great ec’s and recs. the only thing weighing me down is my gpa. It’s decent but not great. Huge upward trend though. Hopefully since Michigan can look past some mediocracy, unc can do and look at my great grades later on in my high school career and high act score
