of the National Hispanic Honors Society.
Ethnicity: Filipino-Chinese

I attend a private all-girls Catholic school. I know my ECs are weak but I address that in my college essay.

u sound like a hard worker...But where do you want to apply?

Where else, you mean? I'm also applying to Oberlin, Swarthmore, Grinnell, College of William and Mary, Vanderbilt University (kind of random in this list of schools I know-my mom has been pestering me to apply there), University of Rochester, and Goucher College.

I would suspect that you are a lock at all of those schools except perhaps Swarthmore.

Definitely put in the Catholic School thing in some part of your application...I go to a Catholic school and know that Catholic schools tend to be super rigorous.
Also, don't be too hard on yourself about the ECs. Most colleges would rather you have one main thing you are passionate about and use your time for, than to see you with the millions of ECs other students try to do last minute. It's great that you have ONE main interest w/ a main activity.
I think you will get into most of the schools you applied to. You sound like a well-rounded person. Good Luck! :)

How do you indicate that you go to a Catholic School? Won't the guidance counselor do that for you?

Was there even an option on the Common App to indicate that you go to a religious school? If not, hopefully my school's name will be enough, since I doubt there are any non-parochial schools named after a saint. Anyway, thanks for your replies everybody!
