Jesus you surf, varsity swim, longboard, build rockets, varsity water polo, varsity sailing, lifeguard national champion, worked in Uganda, and have major research? Almost sounds too good to be true…

Unfortunately you’re GPA is the only thing I find on the low end. But you have an above average chance if what you say is accurate

Assuming ur not trolling,
Ur stats are good. EC’s through the roof.
U know that SCEA mean single coolege early admission right? As in u cant apply to both harvard and yale scea.

I thought it meant single choice early action.

You’re sending a satellite into space?? Jeez. Can you tell us more about that program? :)

SCEA = SINGLE choice early action, meaning you can only do SCEA one place. The option is halfway between regular EA and ED. ED is binding, EA is not. But SCEA means you do it at one school (ED theory) , and if you’re accepted it’s not binding (EA theory)

Your ECs are great - but extremely spread out. I mean - you have 3 sports - but they all share similar achievements. And God forbid, if you’re Rocket launch doesn’t go well or is not recognised by an important organisation - then you will only have Nationals titles in lifesaving championships - which, compared to other ECs - is not really seen as an impressive National title.

While many will be amazed that you are so multi-talented - many Ivy leagues won’t be.
Harvard’s Dean of Admissions once said - “We look for DEPTH, not BREADTH when it comes to ECs” - So really focus on one particular impressive EC and try to escape New England with your achievements. (Which I’m sure you can) :)

Your SAT I and SAT II scores could get you into a big pickle at Harvard and Yale, unless you have amazing out-of-this world recommendation letters. If you do - you’ll still be in a little pickle - because the Average Harvard undergrad has a 2300+ score (Unless you’re a URM - which you’re not) I personally recommend the ACT for a student like you.

I would strongly go against a Harvard or a Yale SCEA - because the country’s best applicants apply during this time - so if there is say, another student with ECs similar to yours -but with a higher SAT - they will obviously go with that kid.

AWESOME ECs and GREAT Academics - but please focus on ONE or TWO ECS. Try to get a national title or rank in another EC. Launch that awesome rocket and apply Regular Decision - so you have time to make up for those SAT scores.

But, in the end - they’re all crapshoots - so you’re true chance of getting in is an unknown variable. My advice will just bolster that variable’s value :D

Haha, my bad. Yea, SCEA is single choice early admission.

Action* haha

Unless you’ve read roughly a book per day for the past ten years, you haven’t read 3500+ books…

True that^^ ■■■■■?
