Chances Cal States?

<p>Im a hispanic male living in California. My GPA unweighted is about 3.25. I also experienced a tragic personel problem during my freshman and sophmore years which is why my gpa is low.</p>

<p>Ranked: In the top 25% of my class</p>

<p>Well, you should be in at all the CSUs. The only thing that may be hard to get into for the CSUs are Engineering, Business and Architecture at Cal Poly SLO.</p>

<p>SLO is a big reach.</p>

<p>You should also know that, based on what you have said, you are UC eligible:

<p>You should definitely keep your options open and apply to the UC's. Assuming that you have also taken all required academic courses (see <a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/subject_reqs.html%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/subject_reqs.html&lt;/a> ) - then you are guaranteed a spot somewhere in the system. </p>

<p>Don't sell yourself short. Of course, you can get a good education at the CSU's so I don't mean to put them down-- just I get the sense that you have a lower opinion of your own abilities than warranted. Your APUSH history score shows that you are capable of doing very well in college.</p>
