Chances... can anyone give me some advice?

Sorry if i'm in the wrong forum.. new to college confidential as you can see by my number of posts :)

Just wondering .. according to my stats.. what you guys think about my list of schools and whether or not I can get into any of them...

Also, if you have any reccommendations on what schools I should apply to.. I'd be very grateful.

Ethinicity-Afghani/Pakistani-American
(from Illinois)

SAT scores:
730 critical reading
620 math
640 writing
1990/2400
1350/1600
Took SAT II's.. screwed up badly.. expecting 640-670 Math 1c. and 650-710 in Literature

AP English Literature: 3 :(

My gpa is approximatley a 3.1 (moving around a lot) Don't really have a class rank because I have attended multiple high schools :s

However--- I explained (in the additional information thing) that my GPA has been compromised because I've been to over three high schools (british system and american) and have been switching back and forth throughout my high school "career". Nonetheless, I completed my sophomore year and junior year at an International-American school in PAKISTAN. That was my first time living over there and so culture shock had a great affect on me(especially my sophomore year). Not only that, but I was living there alone while my parents were still in America. Still, my junior year was my best year (acquired a 3.7).
It's a shame too cuz high school is cake.. it's just that circumstances have been extremely sporadic

My extracurriculars (some important ones to me)
Vice president of school- 11th grade
Model United Nations conference in Doha, Qatar- hosted by Georgetown University- 11th grade
Varsity Basketball; SAISA event (south asian inter-school association)- Traveled to Dhaka, Bangladesh
St. Joseph's Hospice volunteer work
Pakistan Earthquake Relief- getting other international schools to donate money, performing in a relief concert, helping pack $1,000,000 worth of goods donated by UNICEF
Job- working at a clinic (mostly insurance work)

My essays will be pretty good i'm guessing

College list so far:
Brown ( might as well try .. my super reach)
Northwestern (reach)
Macalester
University of Illinois-Urbana
University of Minnesota
Loyola -Chicago
Knox
George Washington University

So... chances and advice?

Thanks

Brown-practically impossible
Northwester-also impossible
Macalester-not sure
U of Illinois-not sure
U of Minnesota-not sure
Loyola-good chance
Knox-not sure
George Washington University-almost impossible

george washington impossible? hmm.. my friends have like 1850 sat scores... and got in.. :S .. I know it's not completely based off that.. but.. hmm.. by like.. mid year of my senior year my gpa will be a 3.2 .. it's crappy.. but my junior year.. the most important year.. i did pretty good.. ehh..

If you think you haf a good chance at GWU than go for it, but i don't think it's worth your time and effort to try to get into Northwestern or Brown. My stats are slightly higher than yours and I gave up on Northwestern which was my dream school

you mean your gpa was higher.. right? i read in another post you got around an 1800 or something !
ehe

bump ba bumpo!

I would go to College Data and Princeton Review and find some other options. You need a more realistic list.

No point applying to Brown and NW. Theyd be a waste of time and money. I think you have a decent shot at GW. Have you looked at American?
