1 year of research mentorship with university professor, presented work at poster session

Started a local charity to help find and rehabilitate stray dogs

I'd say you have a decent shot

bump.......

Your stats are OK, though not spectacular (SAT II Math is relatively low). Unless your research with the prof was extraordinary, your app will be pretty average. Get the optional rec from that professor if he knows you well enough. That might help.

I thought stanford required 3 SAT IIs...or was that only recommended?

I think it's 2 now, since writing became part of SAT I

yes, only 2...bump- any more input?

you stats are pretty much like the other people who apply, but go for it. might as well. you have a shot and u never know

how about percentages? I'm applying early by the way

looks good..just curious, what school do you go to?

Why do you think that percentages given on this site have any meaning? Our guess is just as good as yours.

I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but stats don't really mean anything when applying (in the way that most people think they do). You're stats certainly are good enough to warrant you getting in, but in most cases, it all comes down to your essays. So if you write great essays that stands out and show that you are a fit for Stanford, your chances are very good.
