Boston College has EA-restrictive which limits its early action applicants to only applying EA to BC and not EA to other schools. This means if you apply early to BC, then you cannot apply early to Gtown or ND. If you get into BC, you are not locked into going there so it is different then ED. BC is one of the few schools in the country who use EA-restrictive (also called EA-single choice).

to conlax:
on BC's website

Boston College does not permit students to apply under our Early Action program if they are applying to a binding Early Decision program at another college. Students are free to apply to other Early Action and Regular Decision programs.

Also, you don't HAVE to go there if they accept you:

Early Action at Boston College is a non-binding program; therefore, students admitted to Boston College in December will have until May 1st, the Candidate’s Reply Date, to make their enrollment decisions.

Ha, below 10,000 income. Are you a hobo?

ha, madden, are you an *******?

unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky enough as you to make enough money to finance their education.

SAT’S? 10char

ROFL, this was from 2007…

Haha, this thread makes me laugh.

Oh, and eliosee, that is not enough money to live in the U.S. The OP=Hobo.

Your scores plus being an ORM from an over represented state make several schools on your list unrealistic. You know which ones. I would strongly consider replacing them with realistic schools that meet 100% of need. There are many good ones.

People bumping 2 year old chance threads make me laugh.

Community service? Low SAT IIs. Low ACTS. Definitely retake & retake.

Everything looks amazing, except for your standardized test scores, which aren’t bad, but are somewhat subpar in comparison to those of ivy applicants. You’ll get into your safeties, which I presume are BC NYU and GW . . . Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service is the toughest one to get into, but I doubt you’ll have a problem. As for the ivies, no one has a great shot at any, I would say retake the SAT IIs, as those are weighted heavily in the better schools and good luck!

UCGPA does not go up to 4.6, try again

Stress your expeirence from Nam’ bud. Seriously, you have awesome stats and along with a really good motive and history in your essay, you’re in most of what you mentioned.

Lol this is so funny. People are evaluating his statistics in 2009 when he was a senior in 2007. ■■■■■!!!
