I took the SAT and got a 2020. I hated it. I can do better on the ACT though because I got a 34M, 35S, 35R, and 25E just because i didn’t finish and had to guess so im taking it again and hopefully it’ll be a 33 or 34.

Well I founded the Cuban Culture Club and we were supposed to go to Miami and Cuba at the end of our senior year, but our ASB funds are in the red so that got cancelled. For the clubs I don’t do anything exceptional. I have won various awards at MUN conferences. NHS we adopt families each Christmas and ask kids to bring in stuff for them and I manage that. For CSF, I started an after school tutoring program in the library and am in charge of that, but nothing special.

Alright. Your GPA and Scores aren’t that bad at all. I’ll bluntly state that Harvard isn’t guaranteed, nor is it impossible. You’ll get into the UCs, and by applying EA to those other 3 schools, you’re increasing your chances. All in all, you’ll definitely be going to college. The question is which college you’re going to choose. Good luck!

Thank you! and with Harvard I basically am going to humor them with abstract thoughts to where they might accept me. I’m aiming to create a persona of the most interesting man in the world haha

The people here are ridiculously uninformed. You can’t apply EA to JHU, Chicago, and NU at the same time. NU and JHU have ED, which means you have to go if you’re accepted. Obviously, that means you can’t apply to both NU and JHU at the same time ED. You need to pick ONE school to apply EA or ED to.

For RD:
Chicago - reach
NU - low reach
JHU - low reach

You can increase your chances by applying early to ONE of those schools.
