Chances CMU ED?

<p>Chances in CMU ED? </p>

<p>I am a student from a small public school. I don't know what my chances are at all. I really want to go there. Ever since i was little, I have wanted to go there. Its really close to my house, and its important for me to be close to home. So, can you guys tell me what my chances are?
My stats:</p>

<p>SAT I: V: 660 (ouch), M:700 W: 750
I am going to take my SAT II's soon
ranked 4 in 240.
weighted GPA: 5.6
My EC's:
I've taken the following each four years.
Yearbook- Editor and Chief
Newspaper- Assistant Editor
French Club- member for four years
SADD- President
Key Club- member for four years.
1000+ hospital volunteer hours
50+ library volunteer hours
NHS(1 year)
and took a French course in a local college
I attended the summer school of excellence and got a superior scientific paper writing award from it.
I also attend an enrichment program for gifted students at a local college.</p>

<p>Please tell my a percent chance I have in getting into CMU ED and what I can do to increase my chances.

<p>I think you have about a 40 percent chance of getting in. All you need to do is raise the verbal score. However, it is too late to change that unless you squeeze it in. Your gpa is good and your extracurriculars are pretty good (granted you didn't save a village but what can you do).</p>
