<p>BTW: Would Cornell accept my application if I submit it on 1/02 (and my supplement on 1/01 but i checked it today and it was changed to 1/02..) This is because I am 3 hours behind the East coast time zone and it seems I submitted my common app after 9:00 here.. I would contact Cornell but they have this notice that they won't be accepting any emails, calls up until Feb.</p>

<p>Given that the deadline is January 1st (I believe, not sure) if you send your application past that date, it is up to their discression to accept it or not. </p>

<p>You should submit it and send them an e-mail explaining your situation. That’s all you can do at this point. When did you pay? If you paid even earlier, then I think they will accept it.</p>

<p>I don’t think your chances are very good, especially in regular decision.</p>

<p>Tough decision: Good GPA, below average to average standardized tests, late app.</p>

<p>Send that letter as others pointed out. Even then, you tried to submit it last second.</p>

<p>Your essay and recs will play a large factor.</p>
