With that ACT score alone, your chances are very very low. It needs to be 33+

NYU- Low reach possible match with hooks

UNC Chapel Hill, Cornell, UChicago, Umichigan, and Hopkins are all high reaches.

NYU- Match

UNC @ Chapel Hill- Low Reach

Cornell (does ACT superscoring)- High Match/ Low Reach ( depends on which school you apply to)

uChicago (does ACT superscoring)- High Really

UF- safety

uMichigan- Low Reach

John Hopkins (does ACT superscoring)- High Reach

Try to raise your scores otherwise good application.

Thanks, yeah I’m hoping my ECs and essays can even out my scores, but we’ll see

If you are planning to sign with these schools for soccer, I would say you have a decent shot at these colleges. From what you have listed, it looks like you are a very competitive soccer player who is ranked nationally, so you may want to look into getting recruited. If you choose to do so, you should contact the coordinators at these colleges and speak to them about your situation.

If you want to get admission into college the more traditional way, it looks like every school except your safety (UF) is a reach/high reach. Your UW GPA is a bit low, but your W GPA is stellar. That said, a superscore of 30 is very low for most of the schools you have listed. For schools like JHU, UChicago, and Cornell, you will want to have a superscore of at least 34 or higher. Your ECs are slightly unique but they are not extraordinary so I would not count on them helping you too much in the admissions process. Perhaps you can use this summer to strengthen your ECs. Your passion for soccer is very clearly shown though, so that may help you. Good luck! I would appreciate it if you could chance me back here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1995754-chance-me-low-gpa-rank-cornell-rice-wash-u-ucla-etc-p1.html
