Chances @ 'CUSE!

I'm an up and coming hispanic Senior. What are my chances of being accepted at Syracuse University?

SAT II/ AP:

EC's:
3 years Varsity Cross Country, Indoor Track, Outdoor Track
Co-Captian in Cross Country
All County in Cross Country and Track

I'm looking to major in Nutritional Sciences and possibly minior in Exercise Sciences. Syracuse's College of Human Sciences and Health Professions is where I'm trying to get into, but regular University admission chances are appreciated.

All of my classes are either Honors or regular college prep style. I've taken 2 AP classes as of my Junior year, but I'm taking 3 AP's my Senior Year. I aware that my GPA is a little weak, but I'm definitley working on it.

Running is definitely my biggest Extracurricular. Our Cross Country Team has a good shot at being #1 in the Nation this year, and I'm sure it would look good to be part of a national championship team. I'm a consistant varsity athlete, and I'm definitley going to join the Cross Country and Track teams in College (hopefully at SU).

What are my chances at Syracuse? Thanks.

......Duh.

Did you seriously just post another one?

Yes, I seriously did just post another one.

because I got my SAT II and AP scores back... plus I didn't really get that much relevant feedback on the other thread... my bad for being a bit repetitive... but I'm just looking for some answers... thanks

I'm going to assume that by "regular University admission" you mean the College of Arts and Sciences, which you should be fine getting into. For Human Sciences and Health Professions, you're going to have to talk to somebody who's in that, or who knows a lot about it.

You look like you're in good shape for either a&s or nutrition. Don't forget to put a&s as your second choice on your app, that way even if you don't get in to health professions, you have a chance at another college and can transfer in. Transferring from within SU is a lot easier than transferring another university- just a general tip. I think you'll be fine though.

u have a really good chance. my stats were almost exactly the same
3.1 gpa
1950/2400 SAT
710-math
690- writing
550-reading

Of course i had a major hook being that i am a musical theatre major. so, i dunno if that helped. i was also super duper involved in high school and had a **** load of EC's. I went to a prep school in the south so my gpa wasn't going to be extremly high or anything.
