<p>jonathan…my son is repeating 9th. He absolutely loves it. He wanted so badly to be at his bs all four years so repeating 9th was really no big deal to him. Also, he felt our public hs was so weak, that it was to his benefit to do the repeat. Many of his friends are repeats and he is also good friends with lots of the other freshman; age has made no difference at all.</p>
<p>Putting the awkwardness aside, I really do think that repeating is a really good idea.</p>
<p>capriatifan, I don’t need a safety because the school I go to now is really good, so I wouldn’t be COMPLETELY crushed if I didn’t get in.</p>
<p>wow, your EC’s are really good especially in your awards. I think the D will bring you down, and the SSAT scores are lower than what schools like Taft would want, but if your interviews go well and your recomendations are good, you should be in good shape</p>
