I'm sure I'm in a very similar situation to a lot of people, but I was wondering if someone could take a look.

So basically, I'm really interested in poli sci and programs. I've looked at a lot of schools but my favorites would probably have to be George Washington, American, and University of Wisconsin (Madison).
I know I don't have much of a chance for them, but I was wondering if my upward trend could help me despite my awful freshman year and middle school classes.

My freshman year and middle school (2 classes on transcript) GPA was 3.0.

My sophomore year gpa is a 3.80, my junior year gpa is about the same so far (4 As, 1 B in math).
So that leaves me at about a 3.40 GPA overall.

My SAT is 2090 (630 Math, 750 R and 710 W)

My ECs are:
Interned for the Democratic Party in my state (Just a couple of months)
President of Young Dems at my school - 2 years
President of Model UN (7 awards) - 2 years
Class Representative in Student Government - 2 years
Principal's committee on Senior Options
Site based council representative - 1 year
Did a summer community service program in Massachussetts at a YMCA Camp
Work as a counselor at the YMCA Camp

Thanks for your help
