Chances...don't know much about Cornell

Now that I'm a wolverine, I thought I'd see if it is worth it for me to apply to Cornell. Also, would I get any money? 45K a year is insane :) Without any FA, I would pick Umich over Cornell.

GPA W: 4.158
6 AP classes, plus 2 dually enrolled classes.

ACT: 32
SAT: 1960 (crap, I know)

These are a few of my ECs, the ones that I would be able to elaborate on in essays. I have lots of other random ones too, but these are purely ones where I have a unique insight I can write about.

so so shot...financial aid would depend on your financial need

Alright, so assuming I have a so-so shot here, then it would be a, what, 0.5% chance at Harvard?

The only real reason that I would apply is just to see if I get in. I don't even know if I would go, but I would like to see, but if my shots are not that amazing I won't bother.

Would anyone recommend applying to Harvard instead, or do I have a better shot at Cornell? I am only doing this b/c I know financial aid at these places is supposed to be good.

uh obviously you have a better chance at Cornell...ur ACT is awesome. but why are you applying just to see if you'll get in, thats not the right mentality lol its ego

Nah, I would really go if I got some good money.

Obviously I would pick cornell as my #1 school if I got in, but it is just way to freakin' expensive to justify it!

if you can't afford it, they will pay for you, and if you still are having trouble, you should still try to go...a Cornell education is DEFINITELY justified
