Chances, duh.

Hello fellow stressed classmates. I have been lurking around here for a while and I have now decided to post because I have finalized my list.

GPA: 3.80/4.00
SAT 1: 2090 (oh and i heard something about taking the highest scores, then its a 2150, but do any colleges do this?)
ACT: 32
EC's: Flute (8 years), basketball (3 years), CLUBS: NHS, MUN thats it.

oh, and im an asian living in CALIFORNIA.

COLLEGES: (please classify as safties, matches, or reaches)

UC San Diego
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UC Irvine
UC Santa Barbara
UC Davis
UC Santa Cruz
Johns Hopkins
USC
Harvey Mudd

thanks.

makemecrywhydontyou:

UCLA/UCB: Slight Reach
UCSD: Match
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Safe Match
UCSC: Safety

I only know about UCLA, Cal, and UCSD. I think you're in at UCSD, and I think you'll get into one of the other two. The UC's are very numbered based, and I think you'll get into UCLA and rejected at Cal. JHU is a reach for you I think, because you have the stats, but not the EC's.

UCI, UCSB, UCD, UCSC are safeties. UCSD and USC are matches. UCLA, UCB, Johns Hopkins, and Harvey Mudd are reaches.

do any of those colleges take the highest combined score?> (im new to this whole SAT scoring thing)

the UC system does not take the highest combined scores on ur standardized testing scores....so ur SAT makemecrywhydontyou for the UC systems school....which is basically almost ur entire list....is a 2090....not a 2150...they take ur scores by each sitting
