Chances Duke ED

Hey, I was wondering what you guys think my shot is at Duke Trinity ED. I know I don't have top SATs/ACTs but I would like to know what kind of shot I actually have. I'm unsure exactly what my major will be at this point but know I'm going Premed. I'm unhooked, white and from Long Island
Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.1 W
Rank - My large public HS doesn't rank. Not even percentages.
SAT: M-710, CR-670, Writing-730, (2110) 12 Essay
SAT II: US history-740, Physics- 660 (prob won't send)
ACT: 31 with writing. I don't know if Duke superscores ACT but if they do I have a 32
APs- Human Geo (4), Eng Lang (4), Physics B (4), US (4)
Junior Year grades (supposedly the most important?) - all A's (took Lang, Physics B and US junior year). I slacked a little in 9th grade but hopefully made up for it sophomore and junior years.
Senior Year AP's: AP chem, AP Calc AB, AP Lit, AP Micro, AP Gov
EC's:
Deca (9-12) - Vice President of special events (juinor year), Vice President (senior year), at Deca States came in top 10 in NY State in my event.
Spanish Club (9) - member
Investment Club (10-12) - member
Spanish National Honor Society
Job - Basketball Referee for local league 2 years
Volunteering:
Ronald McDonald House - cooked dinner for guests more than once
Breast Cancer Walks
Relay For Life events
Cooked for 20 needy people during holiday season
Hospital Volunteer this summer- worked 50 hours and have a letter of recommendation from the hospital.
Recs from teachers should be good as well.
I have been working really hard on my essays and hopefully the admissions officers respond as well as I think they're going to.

On a side note, an admissions officer from Duke came to my school and told me what they have been doing lately is taking the average of your reading and writing scores and then adding that to your math to get a total out of 1600. If that were the case I'd have a 1410/1600. Still low for Duke?

I am a big sports fan so naturally I am very intrigued by Duke.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Applying from LI, you will need higher scores for a real shot. And whether or not your school ranks, they give grade distribution data, so schools know where you rank. If you are in the top 10% and raise the scores, you’ll have a fighting chance.

omg i have like really similar issues too…with the scores…try getting it to at least a 2200 and maybe try to focus on your ecs and leadership b/c they’re good, but possibly less than average for a school like duke. i think you def. have a shot though…apply! good luck!

chance me?

bump 10char

last bumppp

Just looking for 1-2 more comments. Thanks.

Reach, maybe?

You and I have very similar GPAs… except my SAT score… haha. I’d say that we both need to raise our scores to at least… 2200+? Your ecs are really good and our gpas are okay… Just write really good essays and have really good teacher recs! Best of luck and chance me back!

you look alright. you have a shot at getting in but nothing stands out
Is that actually true what you said about sats averaging reading and writing?

Yep. At least that was what the admissions officer for my region told me.

why are you ‘optomistic’?
perhaps you should be optomistic4community college.
