Chances EA - why not

I won't actually attend unless stuff really hits the fan, but I have a 3.25 or so but with a great trend, if you were to take out freshman year itd prolly be a 3.45 or so - but anyway, this is at one of the best schools in the country (Stuy in NYC), and with a 2270 SAT 790 math2 and pending lit score.

go for it, I really don't care if i get rejected cause I don't think I'd attend

Why would someone waste their time to chance you? Interesting.

Its posts like the OP that make me sometimes wish/hope the TU adcomms read it, figure out who the applicant is, and don’t waste their time with a review of the application or acceptance. If you don’t want to attend, don’t apply.

What is the purpose of applying when there is no chance that you will attend? Why would you even want to waste our time being chanced if it’s a school you won’t consider? You seem like you look down upon Tulane, from the tone of your post. And as someone who considers the school their first choice and is genuinely dying to attend, I am almost offended. Your application and possible acceptance is simply taking a spot from someone who truly likes the school.

I certainly hope, for your sake, that the stuff doesn’t hit the fan so you won’t be miserable at a horrible school like Tulane. [Eye roll]

Not to worry, with a 3.25 GPA you won’t be accepted.

LOL, I wish that were true given his attitude. Unfortunately if he is telling the truth about his SAT score and assuming he has even decent EC’s, he will get in. Those freshman year grades will be discounted.
