chances ea

A friend's stats. Basically, based on our school's history, he is pretty sure he could get into princeton if he applied early. all along his whole goal was to get into either harvard (first choice) or princeton (second choice). he is not sure where to apply ea/ed though. if he applies to princeton early and gets in he will have accomplished his goal. but he keeps on saying how he might regret not applying to his #1 school. so he basically wants to know if he has a good enough shot at harvard that he should take the risk and apply there early or should he take the safe route and apply to princeton. what are ihis chances of harvard ea? can you give a percentage?

i think i can relate to your "friend" hehe...yale was my #1 choice but i didn't think i could get in, so i applied early to harvard (obviously, harvard is never ever ever a sure thing, but my school has a much better track record there) and got in and as much as im excited for next year, a small part of me wonders everyday what wouldve happened if i applied to yale...so yeah. tell your friend to apply to his first choice because he might regret it otherwise. hope to see you, i mean your friend, at harvard.

haha.. no, i already know im applying to harvard. this really is a friend. but w/e. BUMP
