<p>I am Asian senior from New Jersey.
My oct 6 SAT score came out to be horrible..
(what is the avg SAT I score??)**
SAT I : 1790 (R - 500 M - 670 W - 620) -> I know I need to do much better..
SAT II : Biology M (Freshman yr. ) 510
US History (Junior yr. ) 530
Math I (Junior yr. ) 670</p>

<h2>I am planning to apply as an undecided. And planning to retake SAT I nov. & SAT II Dec (which might not help me , since dates are kinda late).</h2>

<p>GPA: 9th 3.6 UW / 4.0
10th 3.75-8 W / 4.0
11th 3.75-8 , 3.8 W / 4.0
I do not know my UW GPAs, small school.)</p>

<p>Rank: Small private school. I don't think our ranking system is correct to me!

<p>Advice, take the ACT rather than the SAT again. It might suit you better and U of I is more of an ACT school. Also, I don’t think they will even read 3 recs, you don’t need any, maybe they want 1 at most. You are on the borderline now, probably just in.</p>

<p>I have been thinking about taking ACT, too since many people tend to do better (ppl who don’t do well on SATs). But since I never studied ACT before, I think I will just go with SAT. But thank you for ur great advice notthatgood4!</p>

<p>Assuming that you improve your SAT score then I would have to say that you have a fair chance of getting in.</p>

<p>I’m not sure what you mean by EA, but priority filing ends Nov. 10th. All your materials, including test score reports, have to be postmarked by that date. You can still apply until Jan. 2nd, but you won’t have an answer until spring.</p>
