<p>IB scores:</p>

<p>Math HL 7 (effort award)
Business Higher level 7 (topped the grade)
Economics higher level 7 (Progress award)
Biology Higher level 7 (topped the grade)
English Standard Level 6 (got a 7 on the exam though)
Spanish Ab Initio 6</p>

<p>SAT I - 800 M, 700 W, 650 CR
SAT II- doing them in november and october, expecting 800 math II and 750 ish in bio</p>

<p>Work experience - 50 hours cashier at popular Dubai food convention (Taste of Dubai)</p>

<p>100 hours internship at a light bulb factory where I studied how the manager worked and managed efficiency of workers </p>

<p>ECs:
-Cricket, last 8 years, Captained school team in year 11, went on a tour to Oman in 2005, won award for best batsman</p>

<li><p>Member of Student rep council for the past 2 years (got voted, 2 out of 94 ppl get selected), organise lots of events for the school such as a talent show that was started by me and 3 others from my grade</p></li>

<li><p>Volunteer for YOU (Your Own Understanding, that helps children and teens with their problems growing up)</p></li>

<p>how do u guys think I can improve my ECs?</p>

<p>My career counsellor said I had no chance getting in which was a real downer, but I think I have a slight chance. What do u guys think? Thanks</p>

<p>Oops forgot to add that I attended a session of GYLC in US this year and I participated in an MUN representing USA. And I was born in India but have been living in Dubai for the past 15 years</p>

<p>Yoy have a good chance at wharton because of ur EC’s i guess but ur essays/ recommendations have to be awesome too. Are u applying ED for sure? cause i would suggest that u apply RD and do SAT 1 in december and do it well to get a 700 atleast in CR. Also u applying for financial aid?</p>

<p>u need to boost that reading score. try to boost the writing but esp. the reading</p>

<p>Yea i was mainly worried bout reading, i forgot to add that is was my second try, my first one was 660 M, 640 CR and 630 WR (Dec 08), will they like the improvement? I might push it back to RD and redo SAT, ill have to study a lot tho because I find reading quite hard. Im not applying for aid. Thanks for ur help</p>
