Chances ED for the sibling of a current student?

Hi everyone! I am a current junior in a compettitive public high school in new york and I am wondering what my chances are at Dartmouth. My sister is a current student ('07) and I am strongly considering applying ED. I have a 93.5 UW GPA, mostly honors and APs, and on my SATs I had 800 CR 740M and 680W for a 1540/2220. Extracurriculars - Vice President NHS, Vice President Economics Club, Co-Founder/President of a Charity 800+ hours of community service. I think the weakest part of my application is GPA. My school does not rank but I believe i am top 10% tho not top5. Thanks!

It seems that Dartmouth likes siblings and as your sister could tell you, there are quite a few Dartmouth sibs in attendance.

This does not necessarily mean that you are a shoo-in as nothing is when you are talking about admissions to selective schools. However, I think your chances would definitely increase applying ED.

Since your sister has already gone through the process, wouldn't she be in a better position to assess you vs. having a bunch of strangers doing this ?
Did she attend the same high school that you are now attending?
Does your high school have a lot of students applying to and being admitted to the same types of schools Ex. Stuyvesant (you will also be evaluated against the pool of your peers)?
Does your school rank?
Where do you fall in the rankings?
If you feel that Dartmouth is for you, spend the $70 and toss your hat in the ring.
