<p>Please know I am only a parent...that being said, I think you have an excellent shot! You seem to have two passions or strengths that are a good "fit" for Barnard: Your writing and your music. Barnard is well known for producing excellent writers, and of course you could pursue music to whatever degree you chose just living in NYC (not to mention the affiliation that Barnard has with Juliard, although I understand that is pretty difficult to deal with...or get into?? You would need to check on that).</p>

<p>Any way, I would emphasize what a perfect fit Barnard is for the pursuit of both of your passions in your admissions packet...</p>

<p>i was deciding between yale ed or barnard ed, but i'm going with barnard as I think it is a much better fit for me.</p>
