<p>So I'm applying to Dartmouth and doing ED, it's my dream school.
Hispanic Student, English as a second language, lived in the US for 7 years(legal permanent resident)

GPA: W-5.0 UW-4.0
SAT: CR:620 MATH:700 WR: 600 (weak but retaking them)
ACT: 30, retaking it
SAT II: Taking in November Biology M, Spanish and Math II
APs: Biology-4 CALC AB-5 Psychology-5 Environmental-5
Senior Schedule: AP Stats, AP Calc BC, AP American History, English VI honors, Computing for college and careers, Zoology lecture & lab(dual enrollment at community college)</p>

Key club(4 years) Historian last year and president this year
Mu Alpha Thera (3 years) Treasurer last year and president this year
Psychology Club (2 years) Founder and Vice President
NHS member
Varsity Swimming 4 years
Varsity Water Polo 4 years and Captain this year, we won districts and ranked 8th in states.
Started a canal clean up with my Key Club, which we're planning to expand to other clubs in the county, and starting an awareness program with Kiwanis.</p>

<p>Volunteer Hours: ~ 300
Local Soup Kitchen, 100+ through Key Club.
Disadvantages: not a great test taker when it comes to SATs and ACTs.</p>

<p>Advantages: Teacher recommendations: excellent, from AP Calc teacher and AP Psychology teacher, who know me well
Guidance counselor: excellent.
Destination Dartmouth participant, I don't know how much of an advantage that may be.
Intended major: neuroscience.</p>

<p>yay! ...a fellow neuroscience major. Your SAT/ACT is a little on the low side for dartmouth, but if you can raise your ACT to atleast a 32, you'll improve your chances a lot. Everything else is fine...</p>

<p>You seem like a really strong applicant, especially being a URM. Your ECs are somewhat unique, and show leadership. I'd say you're in!</p>
