chances ED??

<p>Ive posted before...im really contemplating going for ED now...what do you think my chances ED would be?</p>

<p>SAT- 1910 (630 reading, 630 writing, 650 math) Im gonna retake this though. I want 2000</p>

<p>3.8-3.9 GPA in a NY public school ranked high nationally (200 or so)</p>

<p>William Shain, Dean of Admissions, gave a class profile for entering freshmen last weekend as part of the Chancellor's Welcome Reception for parents. I believe he said last year's overall acceptance rate was 35.1%. When you consider that the ED acceptance rate was slightly over 50%, that means the RD rate is getting rather low these days. I'd say your chances ED are quite good; so if you know Vandy is the place for you, ED is the way to go. You look like a strong applicant for that round. In fact, you might well be a candidate for the Ingram Scholarships. I think those are the ones based on community service.</p>
