Chances EDII for Vassar

<p>Sorry if these Chance posts are annoying, but I think you all have been really helpful to others :P I know I'm not the absolute best candidate, but going to Vassar is a dream of mine, so I'm applying EDII.</p>

<p>Stats:
- Male
- Suburb of Boston, MA
- Senior
- my high school sends some grads to top schools (depends on what you consider "some" and what you consider "top schools). My school has sent students to Boston College, Boston University, Oberlin, Occidental College, Cornell, Tufts, Swarthmore, Wellesley, Cornell, Brandeis, etc.
- GPA: 93.5 unweighted / no weighted GPAs
- class rank: 39/386 = 10.10 (this should get even better after first semester as I will have one more AP class this year)
- SATs CR/M/W: 660/610/710 = 1980.
- I don't have my SATII scores yet
- Good rec, I might send in an additional one from my singing instructor
- My essay is pretty good, I'm still editing it!</p>

- write on a Philosophy Forum with members of my Philosophy Club (Philosophy Club was discontinued, so we use this instead)</p>

With my application I plan on submitting a recording of my singing & a CD with examples of my photography</p>

<p>Your EC’s are strong and they show a good focus of what you’re interested in (Tu parles francais, oui?). I think your SATs should be good and if your Subject Tests are around the same scores as your Reasoning Test, then you should be good. I don’t know how true it is, but being male supposedly gives you a bit of an edge, which would be nice.</p>
