ok thanks flopsy that relieves some stress of gettin into berkley, sd, and ucla.
im applying ED to CALTECH
is this the smartt thing to do?? Should I also do EA to CALPOLY SLO?
wat do i need to do to get into CALTECH I REALLY WANT TO GO THERE!

i am very desperate plaease help me...

buuuump i need responses...

hey guys i need more input

I NEED TO GET INTO CALTECH
IM APPLYING ED TO CALTECH!!!!!!

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET IN??!!!!!!!!

that C in calculus will hurt you in the long run.......even if you do get A's in CALC II&III (which I think is unlikely ). My friend got into Caltech this year and I can tell you that basically, he had A's in all his math/sci classes and As/Bs in other classes.( He was Saludatorian btw) I would assume he had 1450+ SAT and his essay was really good. I think Caltech will probably incorporate another creative section for the 2006 applicants so concentrate on nailing this part. For 2005, it was like this> there was a blank box and it said to fill it up with anything I wanted. Lastly, GOOD LUCK.

hey guys i did some research...
how bout giving me some feedback if i apply to these schools as well as the ones listed above?

Rice (EA) has an Engineering/MBA program 5 yrs WOW exactly what i want
Cornell
Columbia
Boston U
UCLA
UCB

STILL WANT CALTECH (EARLY DECISION) HOW DO I GET IN?!!!!

I'm quite sure caltech is EA and not ED

Rice (ED)
Cornell
Columbia
U Penn
Boston U

What do I have tod o to get into some of these schools

About CalTech: One year, everyone in their freshmen class had an 800 on one of the math SATIIs. That tells you what the competition is there.

I think that CalTech, MIT, Columbia and Cornell are distant reaches for you.
