If your really interested in ChemE then go for the USA Chem Olympiad...it'll help along with the fact that your a girl :O...anyways: apply early to MiT.

thanks...do I talk to my school about the Chem Olympiad, because I've never heard about it anywhere but here

MIT- reach for everyone, but you've got a great chance
Rutgers Engineering- safety, probably scholarship
WPI- safety, will probably get scholarship, possibly full ride (friend has lower stat and was offered scholarship)
UofI-Urbana- safe match, will probably get scholarship but probably not full ride (I have lower stats and I got money)
Florida Institute of Technology- I don't know anything about it. I'd assume it's a safety

You should add more matches and reaches. Some good engineering schools...Michigan, Carnegie Mellon- safe match, Berkeley, Northwestern, Cornell- good match, Stanford, Columbia- reach.

thanks a lot! thats what I was figuring on with Rutgers...it was my instate thing. I'll definately check out those other colleges though.

Ggod list. Rensselaer would probably give you money. How about Columbia School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, if you like NY City? How about Caltech?

berkeley engineering. come to cal to even out the male/female ratio. 55/45 at berk I heard. I would prefer it be closer to 70/30.
