Chances - Engineering

<p>I want to do engineering although my math is extemley bad. What are my chances? </p>

<p>What are your individual scores (CR, math, writing)? Your GPA seems in-line with Purdue's and you have a pretty challenging courseload. Your EC's are competitive. Your test scores will hurt you, however (especially getting into the engineering program. If you dont get in, however, you can probalby get into a different program and switch into engineering after your freshman year.</p>

<p>FYI: If you want to do engineering, you need major math skills.</p>

<p>Maybe you should look at a field called Engineering Technology. Might be a little shorter on math. It's offered at lots of schools, here's one:</p>

<p>From my understanding, not getting into a program mean getting rejected from the university. So does that mean im better off undecided or something?</p>

<p>Honestly, Purdue is easy to gain admission to for most engineering disciplines. It's getting out with a degree and a decent GPA that is amazingly difficult; you should get accepted into most programs other than possibly EE and Biomedical Engineering.</p>
