this on was the main focus of my hs career
-Church yg missions coordinator & bulletin editor
-Community Service club president (eats up a lot of time cuz i gotta coordinate almost everything)
-450 hrs of community service. they weren't any 'lite' community service where u file library books etc. it was more human rights related (directly helping out)
-mostly thru the church/school.
-it is the one thing i am really "passionate" about. idk how to emphasize it enough. this had the spotlight on my app. (my essay as well)
-Emory youth theological initiative junior year
-Local seminary youth prog. sophomore year
(basically all my summers were either missions trips or these kinds of camps)
-Amnesty International 3 years
-i kno im forgetting something.. ill update wen i remember
i will b getting excellent recs as i kno my teachers extremely well. (mostly b/c my school is so small)

Since you are applying to such top notch schools (where perfect SATs and 4.0 GPAs are regularly rejected) I can only give you matches (or decent chances) for most of them.

thanks! that's encouraging. anyone else? :D

very solid stats regarding ECs and showing passion on religious activities (theology). Just be sure that the passion did really get a nice spotlight and you'll be fine.

I'd say Princeton, harvard, columbia, yale, stanford = slight reach (always hard for everyone)

thanks. yea i really dont expect anything from the reaches. as long as i get into at least one of em haha

... bump 10 characters

Might want to add Davidson, Holy Cross, and Colgate. Holy Cross offers good amount of merit aid.
