Again, thank you very much!!

I’d say you have a good chance. My scores were even lower and I got accepted. Write a good essay and you’ll be fine. (:

You’re probably in for sure. Btw, you shouldn’t really worry about SATs because 1850 is close to the average admit SAT and SAT IIs hardly matter anymore. Your ACT makes it up anyway.

you’ll get in. i had lower scores in everything you posted, i didnt take the ACT and i didnt take as many AP CLASSES. (WOW, im horrible lol) but anyways, i got in, so your good. just write a REALLY GOOD ESSAY.

Ok so they take your highest score. Since you got a 30 on the ACT, your SAT I score will be disregarded. A 30 on the ACT is equivalent to a 2000 on the SAT, so you’re good. You’re probably good for UCLA too. I know plenty of kids at my school who got in with lower GPAs and test scores than you.

Just use your ACT score and you’re golden.

So should I not even send in my SATI? And how about SATII’s since I did so badly on lit and only so-so on History?

Bump! Thank you!

Don’t you get ELC or w/e?

Yeah I’m eligible for ELC, but I haven’t gotten letter or anything. Do they notify around this time?

Oh, I thought you get it right guaranteed as long as you hit the class rank mark.

Why don’t you consider UCLA ??

Irvine is a sure in.for you but based on your stats UCLA seems to be a match!!!

Consider other ucs and don’t worry Irvine is a sure acceptance…you’re smart! Broaden your horizons :)

Sent from my Desire HD using CC App

Desicollegegal: thank you! I am also considering other UCs. I feel schools like Berkeley and UCLA are more reach, especially since business or related majors are probably popular majors at those campuses. but I’m definitely applying to those places!

Bump bump bump :]

to go into business, your major doesn’t matter.
this is what matters

Where you went
Your GPA
Your major

in that order. If you major in literature and minor in economics, and have a 3.8 college GPA solid work/leadership experience you’re gold.

if you go to a lesser school, then major matters more, but even then not that much.

FYI in finance and consulting quantitative majors are viewed favorably (math, stats, computer science, engineering, physics)
