<p>Everybody is asking about their chances and so I guess I should to!</p>

<p>I am applying to:
Cal Poly Pomona
UCI
UCSD
UCLA
UCB
USC
NYU
Georgetown</p>

<p>I figure that everything but UCI and Poly is a reach.</p>

<p>SAT=1280 (m650 v630)
SAT II= math 2C 760, chem 700, writing 630
(that was last year, I am taking them again on the fourth)</p>

<p>AP= chem 3, USH 3, stats 3</p>

<p>GPA= 4.3 (Rank= 10/607)</p>

<p>Senior courseload=
AP Physics
AP Calculus
AP Econ/Gov
AP English
AP Spanish</p>

<p>I have always taken AP/Honors when they are offered.</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars-Leadership/Awards=
Boy Scout-Eagle Scout and Senior Patrol Leader
National Honor Society-President
Marching Band-Vice President
Junior States of America
California Scholarship Federation (waste of time)</p>

<p>Well, ya! I am ****ed off that I didn't try harder these past three years.
So based off of what I have, what are my chances at all of those reaches?</p>

<p>And I got some Science Olympiad awards... but I don't think any of this stuff really matters since my scores are low.</p>

<p>i think you'll get into all of them except Georgetown. But NYU is better anyways.</p>

<p>Your SAT I score is really hurting your chances.</p>

<p>ya, right after the test I had the feeling they would.</p>

<p>Might want to lok at some eastern schools like Trinity or Holy Cross.</p>

<p>DANG!!! this sux so much!! I regret being naive and unaware throughout my high school career! If only I had been guided and encouraged to "pick a path".</p>

<p>i think USC is a match and a slight safety in my opinion, ditto for NYU.</p>

<p>If I was to pull my SAT writing up, how would my chances be affected? And what is a safe score or range to increase those chances?</p>
