i am goal orientated toward journalism. i hope that im well rounded enough for the admission officers to look past the fact i will not be sending any sat/sat IIs.

how am i looking thus far? any advice or comments? im so nervous because many kids from my school are applying ED or RD. thanks so much

oh i also forgot

student government (12,11,10,9)
quiz bowl (12,11)

I think NOT sending your SAT and JUST sending your ACT score is a good idea. I did that, but the other way around, not sending the ACT score, and that worked out well for me. Your grades are really impressive. It seems like you have good ECs. And your ACT score is high enough to be compettitive. So, if you write good essays and present your application well you have good chances.

By the way, I think it's funny how you got a 33 on science section one time then a 26 the next. I hate the ACT for that reason; the science section is ridiculous IMO.

oh i know! its so frustrating that i got a 26 the second time around hahah

the science section is ridiculous, i mean 5 wrong is about a 28 and 2 wrong is like a 33...WHAT!

umm I don't get it

Is a walk-a-thon really an EC activity?

technically yes, but it is more community service than school activity.
still helpful to his/her resume

I agree that your strong EC's and grades should make up for the average test scores.
