I might get good recommendations from my professors and am writing a sincere essay because I really want to go to Cornell.
But I'm still not confident enough because my high school stats are low... (
Should I just wait until junior year or second semester of sophomore year?? (So I can have more time to study and get good grades this semester instead of preparing for the application)
Also, Should I not send the SAT/ACT/AP scores that are too low since they are not required??

Are your EC’s all from high school? I mean, they are definitely going to want freshman year activities too. Also, Cornell says the MINIMUM GPA you can have is 3.0, and you’re well above that. Of course, realistically there will be many many applicants with stellar GPAs. I think you may have a chance of being admitted, as it’s hard to tell with the whole holistic admissions approach.

Thanks, rdlp123!
The EC’s are all from high school. I haven’t done anything in college yet :frowning:
Also, should I send my SAT/ACT/AP scores? I am not quite satisfied with my grade, and since CALS does not require SAT Scores, I was thinking of not sending them.

@thefreshapple from what I understand, choosing not to send your ACT/SAT/AP scores won’t effect the decision if the college you are applying to doesn’t mark it as mandatory.

Thank you so much for the reply!=D
