Georgetown is my dream school but I don't know if I have the scores to get in. I did really bad both times I took the SATS. My ACT scores are a lot better than SATs. Do you think I can get in with these scores? Or will my bad SAT scores hurt me? I know there are other factors to consider like ECs and sports and GPA, but just based on scores, could I get in? PLEEAAASEE RESPOND. Thanks.

I The average ACT score at Georgetown is 31.8. I would just send in the most recent ACT score and make sure the rest of my application is great.

on the ACT, you can definitely choose which one to send. i did it. i scored 32 first time 34 second time. there is no way to tell if you have a decent shot of getting in or not because well, let’s say you have a 32 ACT, which means that you would make the cut for scores, but you had little leadership and your teachers wrote generic things about you. in that case, you wouldn’t get in.

I got in EA with a 32 on my act. I had a 3.9 gpa at a really difficult high school and tons of extracurriculars and leadership. My best friend had a 35 on the act and got rejected so it all really just depends
