<p>Probably not with that low of a GPA. I don’t know how it works with transfers, but I’d assume they pick the top (predetermined number of people) applicants out off all those who apply. I don’t know if your GPA right under a 3.0 would make it. Can’t you take more classes than required to try to boost it up? Best of luck</p>
<p>You do meet the minimum UCR transfer requirements. However, all of the UCs are trying to turn applicants away because of the lack of funding and the increased amount of applications. The reduction of seats and increased applications have caused the positions at the UCs more competitive than previous years. With only a 2.9 from a CC you seem very non-competitive (your CC GPA is somewhat indicative of your success at the UCs), but you still have a chance since you do meet the minimum requirements.</p>
<p>Really? on UC stat finder for fall 2010 transfers average transfer GPA for a business major was a 3.1 and the needed GPA for UCR’s TAG for business major is a 2.8.</p>
