Chances for a CT resident?

I'm really interested in some of the bigger state schools for a whole lot of reasons. I'm a CT resident and didn't think I'd want to go to far west, but I've heard a lot of great things about Indiana. Haven't gotten to visit yet, but I'll be going soon. Do I have a good chance with my stats?

SAT - 1960 (1310 CR/M)
GPA - 3.95 W (3.2 UW) - Virtually all honors classes with 5 APs Junior and Senior years
Top 15% of class
Lead Pianist in the Jazz Band 10-12
Athletics - Freshman Football, three years of varsity golf 10-12
VP Fundraising for Recycling Club 11-12
Other activities too, but those are the highlights

Thanks!

My guess is that you have a very very good chance with those stats

You have a wonderful chance. Come to IU, you’d love it…I’m from MA!

You are 99.9999% in.

You’ll get in, probably with a scholarship too.

^ Yup, the 4k one.

That’s you, buddy.

I am also from CT, and I definitely think you would get in. Just apply early and I think you are all set! I got in with a lower GPA than yours. :)

You have to apply early (at least by September or October, I think) to qualify for the scholarship–so get your application in on-time.

ctcollegekid,

With your stats I believe you have an excellent chance at IU. You might also get some scholarship/academic merit money. We hope you do come to IU next fall.
