Chances for a Desparate Guy???

This is for my brother who will be applying to college this year, but unfortunately it is too late for ED. What colleges do you think would suit him. We live in North Carolina if you are wondering about public in-state schools.

GPA: 3.5
SAT: 1050
Rank: Top 40% (not exactly sure, it is of about 200 students)

Awards:
Excellence in World History, Biology, and Spanish
STEARC Award at Church (very prestigious in our city)

EC's:
Octagon Community Service Group
NHS
FBLA
Band

I know this may not be as great as some, but we really want to get him into college. We're open to any suggestion. Thanx

Sounds like Chapel Hill will be a reach.

What does your brother want to study? Big school or small school? More info would help.

He's planning on majoring in business administration and any school size is fine.

C'mon anybody!!!

North Carolina State...it is the path of least resistance for him. its a good school. he should do fine there

Look at UNC-Asheville. I think he would get in there and it is a fine school. Also, Appalacian State University would be a match. They are known for their business program.

Look at Appalachian State. It is a great school and a bargain for NC residents. Plus, they have a decent business school.
