Chances for a frantic transfer

Hey there,

I was wondering if someone could chance me?

I'm applying to Rose Hill as a biology major for next fall.
The university I'm currently attending is Florida State University, and its rank, based on U.S news, is 102 (if that means anything at all)

High school:
I graduated with an IB diploma and a GPA of 3.2
I also had lots of community service hours

College:
Spring semester ends May 1st and, if all goes well, I'll have a GPA of 3.62.
I've joined the fencing club here at FSU and plan to do lots more community service.

Grades will probably posted two weeks after the first of May, so I"ll send everything then. So I guess my chances are already lower; it's rolling admission that starts April 1st and applying in the middle of May might be cutting it close.
Also, I might not send my ACT scores because I'm not required to (once you've completed a year of college, you no longer need to worry about them apparently...thank God)

So, what are my chances?

I didn't apply last year in fear of rejection. Now that I've gotten the courage and I'm going to actually try this time, after all, this is kind of a dream school for me...XD

I think you have a great chance :]

Thanks Nekonekobear :D

feels a lot better

Everyone else? You think I've got a shot too? :D

I will be shocked if you don't get in. The real question is, will they accept all your credits from FSU? Maintain as good a relationship as you can with FSU. You may need a few deans to send e-mails on your behalf, to detail how their courses are comparable to Fordham's.

Also look over Fordham's list of core courses to assure that you are at least taking similar courses this Spring at FSU. If not switch some courses now. Good luck.
