bump. . . . . . .

Why isn't he posting this?

not a member..and he doesn't want to think about it too much

Oh............

It's always so much nicer when it's a friend. Yes to UCs other than B, which is probably 60%, good chance at Chicaho, no at ivies other than Cornell which I'd give a 30% chance.

seems to me he should up his goals

what the hell? He's in at UCs except Berkeley, which he still has a very good chance of. I say he has great shots at Cornell and Chicago. Columbia is a slight reach, Yale is a reach.

i hope ur kidding me... cornell and chicago are great shots? his sat isn't that high... compared to the averages at those schools... AND he's asian... that isn't helping anything... i'd give him slight reach for uchicago and ucb... reach for all the ivies

asian PAKISTANI* ;)

still asian...

UC Berkeley- Deferred
UC San Diego- Accepted
UC Irvine- Accepted
University of Chicago- Accepted
Columbia- Rejected
Yale- Rejected
Cornell- Accepted ( But closer to deferred)

deferred? like waitlisted? this isnt EA or ED

why isnt he a match for Berkeley?
are you guys assuming that he's in California?

yea he is in california..

and yea i'd think he would be a likely candidate for berkeley too...because berkeley doesn't take mostly 1500s..their SAT average is 1340.
