Hello! I'm a "rising senior" at a public school in CT. Although my grades aren't great, I'm satisfied because I've worked hard for them (then again, hasn't everyone?). I've decided to apply as a Classics major and then try to double major in Biology or Biochemistry, depending on the school. I still have to talk to my Latin teacher about her suggestions for schools, but here's a few that I've come up with. First, however, my stats:

Hispanic, born in Venezuela
GPA: ~3.7 or slightly under
Rank: ~25/373
SAT: 1970 (CR: 750, M: 570, W: 650)
SAT II: Will take Latin as well in Oct.
MathIC: 560 (Retake in Oct.)
Chem: 630 (Retake in Oct.)
Bio: 700

AP's (Jr and Sr): Computer Science A(3 or 4),Biology (4 or 5), European History, English, Latin, Calculus AB(might drop it), Chemistry

EC's: My weakest area of them all. I've had a job at a local bakery for over a year and I've taken piano lessons for a year. Uhm...if it matters, I work 25 hrs/week. Yea, that's it.

And the schools, in no order:
UCONN
Syracuse
NYU
Duquesne University
Holy Cross**
Clark University
BU

If it matters, I've asked four teachers for recommendations:
Biology: Had me for two consecutive years
Latin: Had me for three, soon to be four, consecutive years
English: Had me for two years
Computer Science: Had me for 2 years, to be three next year

**Anyone know if religion courses are required all four years? I read in their manual that it is for an associate's degree, but I'm not sure if its required for a BA/S as well.

So yea, any thoughts?
