I'll probably apply for Brown or Cornell at the least. I'm only a junior at the moment.

background-Yes, and I am an first-generation Asian (but this doesn't mean I'm godly at math or science). I also have typical asian parents who have never gone to high school. My brother goes to UCLA and has a regent scholarship. (-.- sucks though because hes not a parent)

-Unweighted GPA (4-point scale)- I don't really know how to add it up but..3.63?

10th grade- 3.3, 3.8 (trig/pre-cal, english, chemistry honors| world history ap)
11th grade- 3.8 ( english ap, calculus ab ap, us history ap, chemistry ap)

-Weighted GPA (5-point scale)- don't know how to add this up either since my transcript wont add up my gpa until senior year. I'm assuming I exclude 9th grade since its unweighted on my transcript. (4.23)?
9th grade(unweighted)-3.6, 3.6
10th grade-3.8, 4.4
11th grade-4.5

-class rank/size- Can't get until senior year, but I should be at least top 5%. I go to Mark Keppel High School at Alhambra btw. Not exactly a competitive school.

-SAT/ACT scores-- only took my first SAT in January, a day AFTER finals so I wasn't exactly in the best condition. 2060 on SAT- writing:720, essay 10, math:670, cr:670

-SAT II scores- World History:720, Math II:730 (i'm retaking this one -.-)
PSAT score:2050, I'll probably get a letter of commendation

-AP scores, past and planned exams- I took World History AP exam with a 4; will be taking Calculus AB AP, Chemistry AP, English Language AP, and US History AP this year.

My school offers..about 20 APs. (next year I will be taking English AP, Calculus BC AP, Phyics B AP, and Econ AP)

*-employment * never worked unfortunately, but I've racked up 180 hours of community service in library, rose parade float decoration, and etc.

-honors/awards- none but I'm aiming for a gold certificate for the congressional awards.

-additional information-I've taken several classes at my local community college: Environmental Science, Art, Intro to Computer Science, Intro to Microcomputers, Intro to Web Design (i thought i was going to major in computers or something...)

summary- Yes I know I'm not a stereotypical asian (my history/english grades are actually higher than my math/science) and I am going to be majoring in math/science (business or something). Also, please do me a favor and do not flame me for my "low" grades. I'd appreciate it.

Thank you for spending time skimming through this big chunk of information, I highly appreciate all advice I can have for my chances as well as any advice for my senior year.
