Chances for a Junior - HYP

That's a pretty generous estimate. Work on finding something about yourself that truly stands out.

I think my relentless activism and leadership would be considered something that "truly stands out" by the adcoms ;-)

nah, probably not.

Any other opinions?

I don't think you understand what I'm saying . . .

The schools you've listed are among the best in the country and world, without a doubt. By applying, you will thrust yourself into an applicant pool where the schools have more than enough applicants with just as much dedication to a group/groups of ECs to completely fill their freshman class twice.

I'm not bashing your ECs, they're incredible. However, there are enough applicants with dedication to ECs, dedication that is incredible enough to fill the freshman class more than once. What makes yours stand out from the rest? That's my question. I'm not saying you have no chance, by no means, you have an above average chance and you should definately apply. What I'm saying is that something that truly stands out would be a wonderful addition to your resume.

lol surge, i hope you're kidding. i'm pretty sure "leadership" was the word of the day at every college i visited. if you can demonstrate leadership, orrican, then your chances improve greatly.

Aye.
30% to 35%. I'd however, personally bet a buck that you will get into an Ivy.

so my EC's are good?

They're wonderful.

You are a very qualified applicant. It's tough to say match, reach, etc. because of the number of people who apply. Admissions at HYP are random due to the number of qualified people that apply, but that being said, your chances look good. Best of luck.
