Is that the old or new SAT you took? But either way, it couldn't hurt to improve it. You're chances at those colleges are good, but would be better with a higher SAT score.

Its the old SAT, but the new one was like an 1840. What colleges are you talking about. Because my SAT is a lot higher than the average on some of those colleges.

You have many EC's and too many of those schools are safeties for you. Put some reaches and matches like UGA or Georgia Tech in there to balance them out. Raise your SAT score and you can possibly go to better schools than the ones you listed.

i agree with drummer...although id say you have good chances at all of the schools listed..certainly none of them are completely out of the question

Thank you everyone for all your responses. I am trying to raise my SAT score. But as for now, do you think I need to add more reaches??? What schools would you suggest? I really want to go somewhere in the north.

How about Babson and GWU? You may want to take Holy Cross off the list since it does not have a business school (only offers pre-business courses).

He goes to Suffolk University, he's in the Gov't honors program there and loves it! It is quite competative, and the merit scholarship they gave him was unbeatable, he only pays for books and it's renewable every year with a 3.0. His honors classes have from 6-22 students in them and his current professors all graduated from Ivy League Schools, they really care about the students and offer them a lot of opportunity, esp. pre-law/ political science, as it's right next to the State House. Great area, you should tour it if you haven't! Good Luck choosing
